Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: April 15, 2026

This page describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains in full how Clearlake Carwash collects and uses personal information.

What “Sale” and “Share” Mean

Under the CCPA, a sale generally means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. Sharing means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money changes hands. Both are separate from routine disclosures to service providers that process data only on our behalf and under strict contractual controls.

Our Practice

Clearlake Carwash does not sell your personal information for money or any other valuable consideration, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party ad networks, social media pixels, or advertising analytics on our site, and we do not disclose customer data to data brokers.

We do rely on a limited set of vetted service providers to run the Service — for example, Stripe for payments and Amazon Web Services for hosting and transactional messaging. These providers act on our behalf under contracts that prohibit them from selling or sharing your data, so disclosures to them are not “sales” or “shares” under the CCPA. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Submit a “Do Not Sell or Share” Request

Even though we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, California residents may still formally submit a “Do Not Sell or Share” request, and we will honor it. To submit a request, email us at contact@clearlakecarwash.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request” and include:

  • Your full name;
  • The email address on your Clearlake Carwash account;
  • A statement that you are a California resident;
  • A short statement confirming the request, such as “I request that Clearlake Carwash not sell or share my personal information.”

We will acknowledge your request within ten (10) business days and complete it within forty-five (45) days. No account verification is required to submit an opt-out request, but we may contact you to confirm receipt.

Your Other CCPA Rights

California residents also have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share;
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information;
  • Non-discriminationfor exercising any of these rights — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because of a CCPA request.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@clearlakecarwash.com.

Verifying Your Request

Because some CCPA requests involve disclosing or deleting personal information, we may need to verify that you are the person whose data the request concerns. We may ask you to confirm information already on file, such as the full name, email address, and phone number associated with your account. We will not ask you to create a new account in order to submit a request.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly and confirm that you gave the agent permission to submit the request.
